As we wrap up another incredible year at RACE, it’s hard not to feel proud of what this academy and its athletes have achieved. Across the season, our riders showed commitment, resilience and sportsmanship—whether chasing podiums, setting personal bests, supporting teammates, or representing the RACE colours with pride. Every early morning session, tough race, breakthrough result and lesson learned has strengthened our culture.This journey would not be possible without our riders and their families, whose support and sacrifice sit behind every success. 🔥 Hot. Dam hot. Absolutely electric. 🔥Thursday night track racing lit up the famous Tom Flood Velodrome, and Bendigo & District Cycling Club delivered a scorcher in every sense of the word. In searing conditions, the Women’s Crystal Classic—proudly sponsored by Bendigo Real Estate—saw the riders throw everything they had into a brutal 1000m showdown that had the crowd on its feet.This was grit, power and pure racing heart. Former RACE rider Maddie Douglas, now flying the colours of Meridian Blue, showed her class and composure to take the win.
